You’ll learn how to recognize sounds\, patterns\, and rhythms that can help you write better music and improvise with more confidence. \nCreative Games & Exercises – Try out playful activities and group games designed to stretch your imagination and spark new ideas.  These are great for warming up\, getting inspired\, and having fun while building your skills. \nImprovisation – Tap into your creativity with improvisation\, songwriting and writing exercises. You’ll learn to think quickly\, express ideas confidently and develop original content through engaging activities and practical techniques. \nDan Harrison is a singer-songwriter\, multi-instrumentalist\, and private music instructor based in New Jersey.  An active presence in New Jersey’s vibrant music community. This is a hands-on\, expressive art class designed to spark personal reflection\, encourage creative freedom\, and celebrate individuality. Open to a small group of 6 participants\, the class offers a cozy\, collaborative environment where everyone can connect through art while learning new techniques. \n“What Represents You” Painting Experience \nEach participant brings a reference image that symbolizes who they are—it can be a self-portrait\, a favorite animal or insect\, an object\, or a personal symbol. We’ll dive into color\, form\, and expressive linework using acrylic paints and markers. This option encourages personal storytelling and creative exploration through mixed media painting. \nMaterials Provided: \n\nAcrylic paints & markers\nCanvas board or frame canvas (size TBD)\nBrushes & palettes\nWater cups\, aprons\, and all essentials\n\nAbout the Instructor: \nLoreto Oreckinto (Loretoh.art) is a full-time Chilean-American artist and muralist with over 4 years of experience leading art events and creating community-based projects.
