SUMMARY:Guitar Workshop with Jack Skuller
DESCRIPTION:Guitar Workshop with Jack Skuller \nTake your guitar skills to the next level with touring rocker Jack Skuller! \nThis highly concentrated intensive class will help you use the entire fretboard\, play in a group\, and develop your own playing style with effect pedals. If you’re already comfortable with open chords (and even barre chords)\, you will leave this workshop with an entirely new grasp of the guitar. Don’t miss this guitar workshop with Jack Skuller! \nJack Skuller‘s music career has earned him a reputation for powerful live shows rooted in old school rock’n’roll. In his teen years\, Skuller performed for thousands of people across the U.S. as a Disney recording artist. He has been featured on the Disney Chennel\, FOX-TV’s Good Day New York\, Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls\, and with the GRAMMY Foundation. The Songwriters Hall of Fame recognized his talent by awarding him the esteemed Buddy Holly Prize. Now\, Skuller continues to produce his raucous\, catchy brand of rock’n’roll that American Songwriter once noted as “analog\, vintage\, and cool\, with sincerity.” Jack has been teaching guitar for over 10 years and currently sells out theaters all around the U.S. with his two tribute shows: The Everly Set and Forever Simon and Garfunkel. \n*This workshop takes place on Sunday\, November 16th and the price is $120. It’s limited to 6 people.  To register\, please click Here.

SUMMARY:ArtHaus presents\, "Moments in Time"
DESCRIPTION:ArtHaus presents\, “Moments in Time”\nArtHaus is pleased to announce\, “Moments in Time\,” an art exhibition featuring work from Jersey City based multidisciplinary artist Teague Smith. \nTeague’s paintings and illustrations reflect a deep sense of humanity with a distinctive and comprehensive perspective. At times dark and macabre\, his work is soulful\, emotional and uniquely humorous. Each piece is an archive of thought\, or a personally curated moment in time painted in vivid color.  Teague has exhibited in a number of both solo and group shows throughout the United States\, Australia and Paris. He studied at the School for the Visual Arts in New York\, NY. \nIn a recent interview with CANVASREBEL\, Teague revealed he’s inspired by the magic of movies\, specifically horror movies like “The Toxic Avenger”\, “The Fly”\, “The Thing” and also my other favorites “RoboCop” and “2001: A Space Odyssey\,” made me feel excited that someone MADE this surreal unreal vision\, a reality\, and I wanted to be a part of it. \nOpening night is set for Friday\, September 19th\, 6PM-9PM and the show will run through October 15th. \nArtHaus Gallery is a welcoming space for all\, whether you are an avid collector or simply curious about the latest artistic trends.
