DESCRIPTION:Overview: \nThis isn’t your average sip-and-paint. This is a hands-on\, expressive art class designed to spark personal reflection\, encourage creative freedom\, and celebrate individuality. Open to a small group of 6 participants\, the class offers a cozy\, collaborative environment where everyone can connect through art while learning new techniques. \n“What Represents You” Painting Experience \nEach participant brings a reference image that symbolizes who they are—it can be a self-portrait\, a favorite animal or insect\, an object\, or a personal symbol. We’ll dive into color\, form\, and expressive linework using acrylic paints and markers. This option encourages personal storytelling and creative exploration through mixed media painting. \nMaterials Provided: \n\nAcrylic paints & markers\nCanvas board or frame canvas (size TBD)\nBrushes & palettes\nWater cups\, aprons\, and all essentials\n\nAbout the Instructor: \nLoreto Oreckinto (Loretoh.art) is a full-time Chilean-American artist and muralist with over 4 years of experience leading art events and creating community-based projects. Her work focuses on identity\, symbolism\, and personal storytelling through vibrant\, intuitive techniques. \nAll classes can be taught to either children ages 10+ or Adults.
