What Represents You: Painting Experience

Overview:
This isn’t your average sip-and-paint. This is a hands-on, expressive art class designed to spark personal reflection, encourage creative freedom, and celebrate individuality. Open to a small group of 6 participants, the class offers a cozy, collaborative environment where everyone can connect through art while learning new techniques.
“What Represents You” Painting Experience
Each participant brings a reference image that symbolizes who they are—it can be a self-portrait, a favorite animal or insect, an object, or a personal symbol. We’ll dive into color, form, and expressive linework using acrylic paints and markers. This option encourages personal storytelling and creative exploration through mixed media painting.
Materials Provided:
- Acrylic paints & markers
- Canvas board or frame canvas (size TBD)
- Brushes & palettes
- Water cups, aprons, and all essentials
About the Instructor:
Loreto Oreckinto (Loretoh.art) is a full-time Chilean-American artist and muralist with over 4 years of experience leading art events and creating community-based projects. Her work focuses on identity, symbolism, and personal storytelling through vibrant, intuitive techniques.
All classes can be taught to either children ages 10+ or Adults. Classes can be modified according to age group.
