Program Overview

ArtHaus Mommy & Me Music Program is a joyful and interactive series of classes designed for young children (ages 6 months through 3 years) and their caregivers. This program uses music as a tool to promote bonding, socialization, and the development of essential skills in a nurturing environment. While moms are the focus, all caregivers (dads, grandparents, nannies) are welcome!

Program Goals

• Strengthen the bond between child and caregiver
• Support early childhood development through music and movement
• Encourage social interaction and group participation
• Foster a love of music and rhythm from an early age

Class Structure

Each class runs for 45 minutes and follows a predictable, comforting routine to help children feel secure and engaged. Classes are held weekly in a child-friendly, safe environment.

1. Welcome Song: Start every session by singing a familiar greeting song together.
2. Musical Exploration: Introduce simple instruments (shakers, drums, bells) and allow children to play, listen, and experiment with sounds.
3. Movement and Dance: Incorporate songs that encourage movement: clapping, bouncing, swaying, and simple dance steps.
4. Sing-Alongs: Engage in classic nursery rhymes and children’s songs, using call-and-response and echo techniques.
5. Instrument Circle: Pass out different instruments for everyone to play together, focusing on listening and taking turns.
6. Calming Song & Goodbye: Wind down with a gentle lullaby or quiet song, signaling the transition to the end of class.

Classes are offered in 8-week sessions, with options for morning or afternoon times. Morning session is 10:45AM – 11:30PM, afternoon session is 12:00PM – 12:45PM

For the 8-week session, the cost is $35 per class. If purchasing individual classes, the price is $42.50.
